I recommend this place. Our room was comfortable and clean. The beds were comfy. The young lady that checked us in was professional and friendly. This motel was a great place to stay for 2 weary travelers. Note to other guests for the morning...no coffeepot in room. We bought to go coffee and nuked it in the microwave in the morning!
Don't let the outside of the building fool you Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Ours had a King sized bed with a work area and large dresser for your clothes. Great place to stay under 80 dollars
This motel may not be fancy, but they have very clean and comfortable rooms. Their service is outstanding. I was treated very well from the time I walked in the door. I may have stayed here out of necessity, but if I am ever in this area again, I would be more than happy to stay here again. I would also recommend it to my fellow travelers. The people who work here are very caring and compassionate people!
Had to stay for 2 months waiting for our mobile home to get setup. They check if you need anything pretty much everyday, but they mostly leave you alone. Only real complaint I have is the wifi is kinda iffy. If I left my laptop by the window, most of the time I could get a good enough signal to hotspot it, but without that, there was basically no signal in the rest of the room.
Just a few things could be fixed … but hey if you decided to book a hotel that was $50 a night.. I don’t know how much more you expect.. this place gets the job done and is a place to rest your head .. didn’t seem sketchy like the motels in Houston everybody staying they’re actually had a nice car .. the owner is a nice guy!!!! Give him a break, he’s running the place almost alone.. if you need something JUST ASK!!
Clean rooms for an older motel, and staff friendly. What I like best of all is check-out is at 11am, but can stay later. I needed to sleep more and asked if I could check out later. They allow you to check-out late, a few of $10 for every hour past check-out time. So I paid $30 to sleep, shower, and not rush checking out. Thanks Newcastle Motel, I will stay there next time I'm in Newcastle again.
Wonderful people here, they have helped my wife, my awesome 2year old son and myself, WAY OUT OF THE ORDINARY. I would recommend for anyone it's very safe clean and extremely extremely competitively-priced
